In part one, Jon Stewart gave loose support to Tim Pawlenty and Mitt Romney as potential Republican presidential candidates (the key word there is "loose") when Bill O'Reilly asked the Daily Show host if there were any GOP-ers he "liked." He did, however, seem to have a hearing problem when it came to discussing his feelings toward Sarah Palin.

Stewart showed his patriotic side when Bill asked if he "loathed" any of the GOP 2012 contenders. Stewart answered, "I feel like this country is stronger than any individual you could throw at it, so I don't hate any of these people. I don't think personally that the damage they could do is so drastic or so great that we could ever be run off course by one individual."

In part two, O'Reilly and Stewart talk discuss the current president. Stewart says bluntly, "no" when asked if Obama has lived up to his expectations. The comedian walked the statement back a bit by saying that he's not sure, however, if his expectations were "fair to that individual."

  • I like Jon Stewart's approach.

I love how the funny guy i more logical and open minded than most peopel who are supposed to be serious.

    From both sides.

  • Two things I notice about American politics that to me represent how my country has managed to do things better: 1) elections campaigns generally last a little over a month, not years and 2) I could not name the religious affiliation of a single political party leader. I cannot comprehend how a separation of church and state occurs when people continuously talk about how their religious values should be represented in government, it doesn't add up.

  • This is old, we now have cameron running the country and deep down Obama doesn't like david cameron or england in general, you can tell by the fake friendliness when he visits,I think we'll be stronger when the usa elects a republican in office because a republican will have more in common with david cameron.

  • So, Bill O' Reilly is like most people: Not a complete idiot, just an idiot 90% of the time.

  • from now on when people ask me what party i belong to, i will answer "stewartacrat"

  • @Lynsey17 yeah, but your whole country is smaller than just one of our states so your comparison doesn't even make sense.

  • @TelecasterLPGTop I don't think he's trying to be funny. I think he's literally just that passive-aggressive that when he knows things aren't going how he wants them to he throws out some shitty underhanded comment like a child would.

  • O'Reilly's attempts at humour are pathetic or maybe he's just trying to be sarcastic. I wish he'd just play it straight after all he's in the presence of a guy who's a lot smarter than he.

  • could Bill O'reilly please, possibly just once , in the history of the universe, just fucking shut up and stop interrupting?

  • bill o'reily is retarded. anybody who actually takes him seriously and listens to him for knowledge, is a retard.
