Was recorded on 9-16-10. Taken inside the Gallery-Place Metro Station. A drunk girl goes up to a Metro Transit Police Officer and gets in his face. Despite two forceful warnings about getting into his face, she does it again. She is prompty taken down hard and furiously. She struggles, the cop tells her stop resisting. I am posting this video as a neutral party not on anyone side. This video could be used depending on the case. It was a case of catching an action live as it happned.

@xycadium i think you're turning this into something more than it needs to be. i'm not saying i disagree that there are cops that abuse their power however, not all police officers are bad people. if it's their life vs yours they'll chose theirs just as anyone would do. when you're in danger/need help, who you gonna call? ghost busters? no you're going to go to the police. there's right&wrong in everything. people are just so quick to blame and categorize.

@xycadium yes she attempted to leave but not w/o having the final word by cursing at the officer/talking shit while walking away. it would be different if she just said ok&walked away. had he still grabbed her THEN he would be in the wrong. &really who's to say what's "severely abusive of our rights"? no one will agree. your rights will be stripped away when you disrespect an officer or threaten one. and again, her friends fueled the fire & her mouth/drunkeness is what got her into that mess.

@emWOW She was obviously upset but still attempted to leave as the officer commanded. That's when he decided to grab her anyway and then start attacking her and keep saying "stop resisting even though I don't see any further physical resistance." Another example of thousands across this country where officers are going too far. We need very heavy laws that punish these officers SEVERELY for their abuses of our rights. That's the only way we're going to get these problems with cops under control.

@xycadium She is in the wrong. Public intoxication . She talked shit to an officer. She resisted. She continued to talk shit instead of shutting up and making a scene. Then her friends start instigating by saying "serve&protect" as if they're mocking the cop, his job, and what he does. You're going to get sent to jail.
