Top notch man. For me playing outlaws music just makes my day. Its so happy or energetic and thomasson's leads are flat out inspiring. If you want to hear soaring guitars ppl check out the outlaws. They'll leave you smiling all day.

DO the Green Grass and High Tides Solos Cover ;D
The last solo (from the late Hughie Thomasson) is very complex... The first part of this solo (the first four G-F-C chord progressions) is where you have to stay between the first three frets only. You are getting close.
This picking style is what made him such a great guitarist, w/ such a unique style. The remainder of this solo is more standard; thus, you get to it more.

Yeah I know he does stay on the first 3 frets...he actually bends that A up to the B... I prefer to slide it (up to fret 4). It's just very hard to keep that bent up in key while picking that E and B string. It is amazing how he does that.

What key is this in?

Chorus is in C major... no sharps or flats... the bridge deviates to a D chord - so, if you put the D in context with the C and G, technically that part is key of G - the one F#
