The Elitch Theater in Denver Colorado has seen some of the world's most famous performers on its stage and it is now being renovated. Which is good, because no one really knows why the building is still standing. Some believe its the ghost of Mary Elitch keeping up. This documentary is both an historical documentary about the theater as well as a ghost story. The theater has been listed as a National Treasure. This is a trailer for 30 minute piece. Back in the 70s I went to the theater and saw Victor Borge give his comedy piano performance. As he was playing a serious piece, you could faintly hear the Elitches train go by the theater with it's familiar whistle. Without a hitch, Victor sequed from the classical piece he was playing into a few choruses of "I've Been Working On the Railroad"!
To all who have never been there@ the Old elitches, it truly was fun as a kid and it was so beautifully decorated with huge plants flowers and trees an awesome garden ,we use to beg are parents to take us there.
