Hi, Im Robin Wing with http://www.SecretWealthMastery.com and http://www.MagnetizeYourWealth.com

Im going to talk today about the Transformative Power of Tuning Into the Present Moment. Being present with whatever life brings us, and as you know life can bring us some very major challenges.

Im going to tell you a true story. When I was 23 years of age, my fathers kidneys failed, and he was on dialysis and was dying. He of course couldnt bring himself to ask any of his children to donate a kidney.

But when I found out about his health crisis, a light bulb went on inside, a knowing, and I knew right then that I was going to donate a kidney to my father. It felt right and felt perfect, and I was very happy to do this for him.

So I did it. And in those days, almost 27 years ago, it was not the simple operation that it is today. Ive seen people who have had this operation performed recently and today it is a very small incision and they are in and out of the hospital on the same day.

But back then it was a major operation. I have a 15 inch scar along my belly near my rib cage. They actually cut all the muscles in my belly and went in through the front rather than the back (as they do today), and then cut out my kidney and transplanted it into my dads body.

I am very happy to say that it was a highly successful operation, which added another 15 years to my dads life. Yea!!!

I was in the hospital for 2 weeks, and it took me 2 months to fully recover.

The experience I want to share is that when I woke up from the surgery I was in SO MUCH pain. I cant even begin to describe it. Only those who have experienced a surgery like this probably can even relate to it. But just imagine the most intense physical pain you could ever feel in your life. I was writhing in agony.

They gave medication for the pain of course. But the medication lasted for only 2 hours and they werent allowed to give medication but every 4 hours. So those 2 hour segments after the medication wore off were like an eternity. The hidden blessing (and there is always a hidden blessing) was that I had no other choice but to be with the pain, to be with the experience.

What I learned and what I experienced, and this relates to all experiences of life, is that when we allow ourselves to dive into the moment, when we can be fully present with whatever is here for us right now, whether its physical pain, emotional pain, or any other traumatic experience that life brings us, there is a transformation that occurs.

Physical pain is right there in your face so its a great place to practice. My experience was that when I dive into the experience so fully, so completely, so wholeheartedly, where my every breath is fully conscious, and I am so wholly in the moment, what happens as a result is nothing short of a miracle.

What happens is that the pain transforms. It is no longer pain. There is only sensation. There is only the moment. There is no labeling. Its not good, its not bad, its not pain, its not ecstasy. Its all of the above. Its simply being in the moment.

And the same goes with anything in life. It doesnt have to be physical pain, it can be emotional pain for example. I used to work in a suicide prevention center, so I know very deeply, and we all know from our own experiences how devastating and overwhelming emotional pain can be.

But its the same. Its an experience of the moment. And any experience can be transformed. And how do we transform an experience? By fully experiencing it, by being fully present to it, by opening our arms and our heart, by loving ourself, and knowing and trusting that whatever were experiencing is perfect.

I know that statement can seem strange. But whatever is coming to us in this present moment is designed just for us, for us to grow. And ultimately every experience in our life is perfectly designed for us to evolve, to become all that we are meant to be in this lifetime.

So just remember, whenever you have a challenging or painful experience in your life, know that you are up for it, that you can be with it, that you can transform, that nothing is permanent the way it is. If you can just be with it and open and love yourself through the experience (and you can!), then you will reach the other side . with many amazing and miraculous gifts awaiting you.
