This is a two cylinder Lego pneumatic engine connected to a foot pump using a narrow adapter. It has a 500ml bottle as an air tank to compress the air, and as the video shows, the engine works nicely at 30PSI.

  • you cold maybe try buying a cheap little compressor, they are around £15 but you canb get ones around £25 which have their own air tank,

  • Thanks. I'll look into that.

  • nice! I see you took my advice then! beats the little lego air compressor doesn't it! :)

  • It does!

  • nice, it runs smooth and slow, how much torque though?

  • I'm not sure how much torque there is- I was filming and keeping the air under pressure at the same time so I couldn't test it.

  • Smooth as silk. Nice.

  • yeah I was recently lucky enough to come across a small 100-150 psi portable compressor for a good 30$ (canadian). which would be about £15. I also removed an air hogs engine and modded it too fit lego and I managed to hook it up too the compressor, so I'm hoping to go somewhere with that :P.

  • hi mate my lego engine is very similar to urs and mine worked a lot better without an airtank ...give it a try. regards the dry liner
