To all the fun-lovers out there, don't be deterred by the religious debate below; this was done for fun =P
On Thursday, February 10 there was a flash mob on Southern's campus. At convocation, where Bietz was to dye his hair a mystery color (depending on the team that raised the most money towards the "No Thumbprints" campaign), the students had a fun way of presenting him.

Adventists Gone Wild.
I didn't see Jesus represented here. It was just another activity that could be found at any other school/university. Nothing sets SAU apart from the secular schools. We are called to live to a higher standard. This is the work of the lowest common denominator. Jesus is coming soon. Is this how we would want to be found by the One who loves us to death?

I really can't picture Jesus doing this or apostles or serious protestants...this is not happy anything ..it makes me sad to see this..anyway it has been foretold..Satan is so deceptive and affects our emotions and I see many people here are driven by their emotions and not Holy Spirit as it should be...nobody will ever convince me that person with a Holy Spirit would be doing this..so if it ain't Holy Spirit which one is it? Who needs this? People who are bored and like to have fun world's ways

This is despicable that it is happening at an Adventist school. The church has certainly gone into full blown apostasy and here are the youth dancing 'naked' around their golden calf of wordiness.

@jensoniv Honestly i was deeply disappointed - i had never seen anything about Southern but - ive always heard of it - but i definitely wont be attending - looks like every other school to me - im not perfect myself by far - but GOD does call us to be separate from the world - Adventist Flash Mob? Or Line DANCING??? whats the difference and im sorry but alot of evil is done in the name of FUN + we discern between right and wrong whether adventist or baptist- this was a mockery of GOD'S remnant

I love it! I'm already interested in SAU for my 6 year old daughter! This is NOT what EGW was referring to in her "bedlam of noise" statements I see quoted in somebody's comments. EGW was rerferring to the bedlam of noise of Pentacostal-like services in which people use drums and dancing and to extremes to bring about a desired mindless frenzy of activity, which was part of the Holy Flesh movement in Indiana. It WASN'T referring to what's in this video. For goodness sake... I LOVE SAU!

Wow reading all the comments really make me not want to be a SDA... All the people who say this is wrong need to check their life before you go Judging College students for doing something fun, and hurt no one. Did you not hear the song "Oh Happiness" If you are putting this down then you really need some "SERIOUS PRAYER!" WHEN did Adventist start ridiculing with in their own religion... Thought they only did that to others....
