On March 19, 2009 Jeffrey Lewis, Rough Trade recording artist and author of Fuff comix, illuminated Alan Moore's Watchmen for the perplexed in the basement of Jim Hanley's Universe, New York's largest comic emporium. In 1997 when Jeffrey wrote this marvel of a college thesis , there was no critical writing available, and all his insights are original. This is a clip from the beginning of the hour lecture

Could you please post more from this lecture? I started reading 'the watchmen' recently and would like to revisit Jeff's insights, which he doesn't get to in this short clip.

If there's enough interest and it's OK with Alan Moore, maybe Jeff will put out a DVD. Let's hang on for that. Meanwhile, try to get to hear the lecture if it's nearby.
