@MadSteveo957 I'll smile regardless, but that's not going to stop me from shaking my head at people who make false accusations about a dead man, sorry. That's how rumors start and names get tarnished.

@Kazper613 and @Baxxter101
Why must we fight when we can get along? Were all brothers and sisters here.. Mikey is dead and if he were around he wouldnt want people argueing over beliefs about him.. lets be an example and do what most men dont do.. its ok to have egos even when we dont realize it.. the error is human.. Lets remind eachother how to smile not frown

@Baxxter101 You're still a moron. You're comparing life to a women's love and proposing the idea of letting go of a women, and letting go of your will to live as an equal. The fact remains the same regardless of how corrupt you see it. Eyedea was never into hardcore drugs, and certainly never an addict. Just ask anyone who ever offered to smoke him up before or after a set, and quit posting on every video like he was some sort of heroin addict.

@Kazper613 and it doesn't take a genius to understand that to cherish something is not the same as clinging to it... To cherish is to let go. I appreciate your egos concern about my outlook on life and death, but I must point out and perhaps remind you of the old saying, "if you love something, let it go"
And for the record, I'm not saying that he "killed himself" in the same sense as Cobain or Dwyer... I'm just saying he knew he might die and did it anyways... Why is that so hard?
-
@Baxxter101 Wow, do yourself a favor and pay attention to any interview with him, about him, dedicated to him, or talk to somebody who's met him in person. It doesn't take a philosopher to realize Micheal cherished life and respected the inspiration he gave towards others because of his existence. You need some serious help, and I say that with with purity towards your outlook on life. You don't need to believe in suicide to understand it.

"One day it's all gonna shatter and I hope you're still here. I do. And If I'm lucky enough I'll be here too."
-
@Kazper613 I dunno man... You're entitled to your view as much as I am mine, but I can't see why you're so hostile to the notion. Dude was obviously in philosophical and spiritual pain since he hit the scene... What gets me is how when I say things like "maybe he wasn't a retard" most people automatically assume suicide is supposed to be this huge dramatic "look at me I was sad and you didn't care blah blah blah" act, when really its just the ultimate letting go. Turning off of the Nintendo.

@Kazper613 One of my best friends from childhood actually just died on Saturday. She had Cystic Fibrosis and was un-diagnosed until age 3... Growing up she spent 4-5 months a year in the hospital and wasn't expected to live to 5, or 10, or 15... or 20... or 25... She died at 30. She spent her entire conscious life hyper aware of her mortality.
To assume Eyedea was clinging to life as desperately as I'm sure you do, is to not see the whole picture. She taught me to live until it is time.

@Kazper613 sure thing man. Cause you knew him so well and shit right? Insomnia is one thing, but it doesn't undo countless references to Krishnamurti, Watts, Campbell, and other transcendental thinkers who also contemplated what has been called "the only real philosophical question" google it bitch.
The fact that so many of you supposed 'fans' deny the possibility; not that he chose, but that he was open to the idea of leaving this realm of conscious by ones own will is disappointing at best.
the people in the crowd dont understand how lucky they are to have seen this
