My first solo video submission - an old Irving Berlin Tin Pan Alley classic, played on an old classic instrument.
FYI for interested music folks - the fingerings are standard tenor guitar/banjo, but tuning is F-C-G-D (inside to outside).

  • You got it, Eddy. It looks like tenor F, but I'm playing Bb. In order to achieve a more tight guitar-style voicing while keeping tenor fingerings, I moved C-G-D to the outer 3 strings, and the F on the inside 4th string is just one full step below the (now second string) G. It's a little uke-like in tuning pattern, with the first interval descending and then ascending the rest of the way.
