How to make your wishes come true.

In some stories we hear about genies offering 3 wishes, well the amount of wishes you can demand from God are limitless. He can grant all your wishes through prayer. You don't even have to pray in a formal sense in most cases.

There are several types of things people may pray for

1. Lets look at negative prayers first. These prayers are to request bad things to happen, for example for the suffering or death of other people. These prayers are attributed to Satan.

If you love God, you will never make negative prayers. A negative prayer could also backfire. The following hadith exists;

Hadith: When someone curses another, the curse is taken to the sky. If it doesn't go through, then it comes back down to the earth, bounces left and right to find the person who was accused (if it's not applicable to the person), it reaches back to the curser.

2. People could also pray for material wealth or weather change, God does actually fulfil such prayers even though they can be based on selfish desires. To make sure this becomes a positive prayer, use the Istihara prayer which can be found on the internet. English translations are also available for those who can't speak or understand Arabic.

To strengthen such a prayer, you can make deals with God, offer Allah something in return if your wish comes true. For example, you can offer to do something charitable, you can donate some money for well building, you can sponsor a child, or anything else which will support poor/vulnerable people or children.

3. Some people pray for the healing of others.

Again, you can make deals with God. If you want the life of someone healed, then you have to offer your own life in return. Alhamdolillah, Allah doesn't want you to commit suicide or anything. All you need to do is spend your life doing God's work, perhaps devote your life to charity, education, working with ill people or teaching faith to others. This increases the likelihood of your pray coming true.

4. Some people pray for a particular person to fall in love with them, make up after a major quarrel or agree to marriage.

For this, you can offer a certain number of fasts and prayers in advance so that your wish comes true. I have first hand experience of this coming true. I offered Islamic prayers and reading the Qur'an. You could also offer a particular charity donation in case your wish comes true. As I said before, you can offer orphan sponsorship, well building or some voluntary service.

If your prayers aren't fulfilled, believe that it was for your own best interest and keep your faith in God. You have little understanding because you are unable to see the future.

I actually know a girl who prayed a particular young man would fall in love with her. He did, twenty years after she made her prayer. But by this time he was a ugly, fat, balding and a drug addict. She realised how lucky she had been to lose him in her youth because she ended up marrying someone generous kind tall dark and handsome.
Another way of making your wishes come true is by positive thinking. As I have stated in my video, 'the secret power of the elite, jinn and Islam', Allah has assigned angels to obey us in terms of assisting us in fulfilling our wishes. All we have to do is think about what we want to achieve. We have to imagine getting high grades in our studies, we have to imagine finding the perfect companion and sharing our lives with them, we have to imagine possessing that lifestyle we want and the Angels have no choice but to help us achieve these things. People remember to credit God with the thank you as the Angels are only obeying God's command.

Sometimes Allah does intervene to prevent your positive dream being realised but only if it will lead to future detriment. So please have patience with God's decisions.

If you make a promise to God, you must fulfil your promise when your prayer or wish is fulfilled. If you break your promise then the Qur'an states that Allah will put hypocrisy in your heart. This hypocrisy worsens until you deserve Hell.

First you said negative prays/wishes are attributed to Satan, which seems reasonable, but then you said the Prophet said that the negative pray/wish/curse, goes up into the sky and if it doesn't go through, bounces around earth to find the accused, and if the curse isn't applicable, it goes back to the one who made the curse. Which would mean that negative wishes work just fine on people that deserve it. Damn, if that were true the world would be a far nicer place, wouldn't it.

@unseenocean I don't believe such hadith. Allah is the Most Merciful and sent the Prophet pbuh as a mercy to mankind. It would be contradictory for him to curse, and for people to end up dead etc. There are also hadith stating that the Prophet pbuh instructed people to never curse, I would rather accept these hadith.
