ARCHITECTURE: arriving in Corfu, 1970

I have never been to this Greek island, but watching the movie The Executioner (1970), dir. Sam Wanamaker and the beautifully done scene of George Peppard arriving there made me want to pack my bags and board a plane. The lady at the hotel reception who has problems with her necklace appears to be Gisela Dali who, as you can learn on Youtube, if you care, seems to have made quite a name for herself in adult movies of the era.

If you ever visit Corfu you will find out that the driving scene in the town is verry funnny, since in real world the car shows up a few meters away from the hotel that it finally arrives :-p
