There are also many other events happening throughout the summer.

Fall is harvest time with many local farms running great family events. The Conservation areas and Bronte Creek Park provide guided walks, educational sessions which are great ways to see the beautiful fall colours. The are also a number of Thanksgiving and Halloween events that are fun for young and old. Burlington is a winter wonderland with events such as the Museum Candlelight Tours, the Christmas Parade, the waterfront Festival of Lights, New Years Celebrations and the Winter Carnival in January and February. One of the first signs of spring is that various parks and conservation areas host maple syrup activities.
