  • television was way better in the 90's thats why i never watch stupid shows like gossip girl i just buy all the older shows on dvd

  • I think it's funny how "Martin" and "Living Single" come back-to-back in this video, because I think they aired back-to-back on FOX for the majority of their runs.

  • 7:33 The opening for Angel Falls has to be the most beautiful TV show opening that I've seen.

  • Bonnie Hunt has got to be T.V's proverbial punching bag. It seems like she's had 17 shows.

  • @dgendvil I LOVE Getting By, but I like the abc version better than the NBC Version, IMO

  • From watching these videos I think if you WANT your show to fail, hire Joel Brooks, Matt Frewer or Chris Young to appear in it.

  • I used to love Getting By! Been looking for that intro for the longest! Thanks for the post!

    -R.I.P. Merlin Santana

  • Does anyone know where I can watch A League of Their Own series?? If you could tell me, I'd appreciate it :)

  • Gee, they really loved the sax back in the late 80's/early 90's didn't they??:-)

  • I'm thinking that Getting By was on TGIF. Loved the Intro to Living Single BTW!

  • I'm thinking that Getting By was on TGIF.

  • Max Wright played Willie on ALF.

  • @GiantsSB2010 back in '02!

  • @superdave7498 helz yea!

  • Any sitcom in the 90s named after its start is NEVER good

  • Fact: Any sitcom named after its star is NEVER good

  • Loved angel falls thanks.

  • Yes it was!

  • was getting by a miller/boyett production? the intro sure looks like it!

  • Does anyone have any episodes of Getting By?

  • That show "ned blessing" looks like a good show. I dont remember it, but if it was on today, id probably watch it.

  • At :46 "Getting by" had a bunch of people who moved on from other shows. Cindy "shirley" Williams, Thelma Hopkins,

and Deon "bud" Richmond. Also , Merlin Santana was he the young man who was on the Steve Harvey Show? I believe he passed away a few years ago.

  • Not to mention, shows were longer as well. Nowadays you're lucky to get 20 minutes out of a show, that is if they even include an introduction.

Another annoying thing is when an old show goes into reruns, they cut so much that it's unwatchable at times.

Downloading and buying DVD's of old shows is the way to go now.

  • John Larroquette was my absolute favorite! I was so sad when that show was canceled. Kind of funny, I was in a St. Louis bus station a few years latter and it was exactly like what was depicted in the show, right down to the cops at the counter and the black guy who worked there yelling about white people. It was eire.

  • I don't remember Dudley..ut myst have been short lived..I remember Getting By..had the same font for the names in the title..I never watched Where I Lived..didn't know A League of Their Own became a TV show..I remember Family Dog..wow !!..Bonnie Hunt in The Building?? Glad she got her own morning talk show..Martin & Living Single I watched in reruns..kinda remember Daddy Dearest
