Landing at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport (STL). My comments indicated that we were crossing the Missouri River, but actually it was the Mississippi River. I also said the Gateway Arch was nowhere to be seen, but it is actually visible around twenty-two seconds into the movie at the bottom of the screen.

  • might not be the most exciting view coming down but your vid is what was the most exiting 4:39 of my life about a month ago...came home on mid-tour to Korea and man was the good ole Midwest a welcome site. We followed the same landing pattern you did.

  • thank you for your kind words and a special thank you for serving our nation!

  • you actually can see the arch at about 0:20

  • FYI the arch is downtown by the baseball stadium. Look at the bottom of your screen and the 20 second mark.

  • @ 1:20 fairgroundd park right across the street from my house

  • You can see Busch Stadium at 0:22.

  • Just got news Lambert International airport closed indefinitely due to tornado touchdown! OMG!

  • Right at 0:09 just above center, is the Anheuser-Busch plant, were they used to make American beer, and where they now make Belgian beer, that I won't drink. Every major business in St. Louis sold out to someone else, crushing the city's economy and driving away the population. Here's a cheer to the St. Louis business community - thanks for destroying the city, guys and gals! Good job, McDonnell-AB-Mallickrodt-SWBell-... and all the rest!

  • Dude passed right over the Arch and ballpark and didn't even see it :) Some tour! Well I could give a 30 minute tour here, but won't.

  • @Carter106able Midwest. Anything really south of STL city might as well be the south.

  • btw, its the mississippi river, the arch is in the frame near the beginning right as you say "missouri river".

  • what airline where you flying
