@Z3R0FiR3 The actual hospital does indeed look scary... and I'm talking about the real hospital. It looks like a big haunted building.

Scary, isn't it?

The Hospital kinda looks like a haunted house in this.

This was when the great Valerie Starrett was on GH! Do you have any clips of her? I'd love to see her as Diana again. Before Luke and Laura stole the glow, she was what GH was all about-IMO!

As you can see, my channel does not contain a classic GH library. These openings and closings were provided to me from a now-defunct website. Sorry.

Yes, I was wondering what the opening was 1973-1975, before the ambulance? The piano was classic GH back from the time the show premiered. Was that a Charles Paul piano? Although, Jack Urbont's 1976? music does go with the racing ambulance a bit better, perhaps.

The visuals used prior to this were the simple displays of the show's title, and credits, over the black (then blue starting in '67) backgrounds which were introduced in November 1963. GH is notorious for its long-lasting visual packages! The first two piano themes were composed by Kip Walton, before Wright's came along in '75. Charles Paul didn't become musically involved with the show until about 1978 when Gloria Monty took over as EP.
