Winston likes to put things in his mouth. His owner started rewardinghimwith a treat when he would take the cone from her hand. He then figured out how to pick it up and drop it in her hand for a treat. He really enjoys this game, he is a hard working PSG dressage horse , and it's a fun thing for him to do!

@AndiNJ2332 Winston is one of those horses that likes to pick things up in his mouth and chew on them,especially soft rubber cones. So it's partly training, but partly a predisposition for the behavior (in my opinion). His owner started rewarding him for picking the cone up and dropping it in her hand, and he figured out how to go and get it and bring it back for a treat. All the exhuberant leaping about is just him, he's an awesome & athletic horse with a ton of personality!
