Green Design Furniture Assembly - Part I

No one has ever done a better job of explaining the benefits of our patented assembly system than our devoted collector, Kevin Durr. Kevin and his wife, Amy, are the very talented founders of Not Sold Seperately (notsoldseperately.com), a very accomplished and innovative internet development company based in southern New Jersey. It turns out they are also extremely talented filmmakers who have documented the assembly of two of their recently purchased pieces of Green Design Furniture. Kevin performs the assembly with his 1 1/2 year old son, Ian, acting as his extremely busy assistant, while Amy mans the video camera. Brilliantly edited and scored, the final product is an entirely delightful and illuminating demonstration of the reasons why our furniture and our customers are so special. Many thanks to Kevin, Amy and Ian for allowing us to share this wonderful video with you.

The two clips show the assembly of the Credenzela, a two drawer cabinet and Desk Return. At the beginning of each segment, Kevin has taken the components out of its box and removed the foam wrapping from each part. He refers to the illustrated assembly instructions during the step-by-step procedure. Ian seems eager for an opportunity to use the rubber mallet. Alas, it is not required.
