XBOX actually included cool extras, like Playing as Mary, new weapons, and better lighting effects and overall graphics. :)

I love the story. But I think this one follows the new character only. :(

Which means, we may, or may not see fragments from James,Mary, or possibly even the first one with Harry Mason in it. I'd like to see some sort of homage to the old ones, other than the static camera, which I do love by the way. But puzzles, riddles, monsters, Oh My! That's my silent hill. I'm actually playing the second one again right now.Restless Dreams. :)

I will be getting this game for sure. I love that none of the Silent Hill games are online. THAT'S WHAT MAKES THEM GOOD. A message to all you game designers out there wondering why people are H8ing this online movement with RE ORC, and RE 6 right now. We want a great campaign. You can give us the online after you've established that's it's good enough for online and that it is supported by the community.

@TheTrueDetective if you didn't find dead space scary i don't know if you'll find any game scary, because getting scared while playing a game is all about whether or not you can keep yourself in the right mind frame while playing it. your obviously not going to get scared if you storm through a game like "come on bitches lets go mothers fuckers i aint scared of nothing". but in saying that silent hill dose give you more of a sense of helplessness so you may find that scarier.

I'm planning on getting my first Silent Hill game (either HD Collection or Downpour, they all have different characters/stories so I'm not sure if it matters) and I wanted to know if Silent Hill is scary or not. I've played both the F.E.A.R. series and the Dead Space seris but I didn't find either of them to be scary like they were supposed to be, and I'm not sure if Silent Hill is just all hype, no scare.
