  • @lando30001, it looks like he's using burnt sienna oil paint thinned with turpentine. It's also called a "dark wash", MIG makes a dark wash straight from the bottle. He's also using oil paints for the dry brushing as well. Some prefer oil because it takes hours to dry and you have lots of time to correct it.

  • with the ageing process, is he using black paint with a thinner? if so, it is a strongly diluted black?
