Broad River Community. This storm surprised resident's as over 1/2" of ice coated trees and power lines. Many power poles snapped under the weight as did the trees. Our power was out for 4 days starting 5am Christmas morning. Never seen such damage as this storm cause. Looked as if a tornado went through our community. Tree's snapped ever 5 seconds in the morning hours causing roads to be closed until the storm let up. This section is near Echo lake and enters into the Craig town area of Fairview where some parts may have had 3/4 - inch of ice.
