GATO:
"Para curar el mal de amores,
dijeron los doitores
que no había salvación.
'ora me dicen gato viudo
porque una gata pudo
quitarme lo chiqueón.

Antes sacaba del mandado
me daba pa' mi helado

GATO: (---)

ENGLISH THE WIDOWER CAT

When the moon is so big that looks like an enormous ball and lights the alleyway. We can hear the mewing of the sad widower cat, while his hair bristles in a horrible sight. But there is always someone who would throw a shoe, just like a bullet to stop his crying.
And by the edge of the mistic roof, the cat has complained by singing this song: To cure love's pangs, doctors said there was no remedy. Now they call me widower cat, because a female was able to cut down my haughtiness.

In the past, she would take money out from her market list and give it to me so I could buy ice cream, go to the movies or to a foot-ball match. But now she has left me frozen just like an ice cube in a glass of high-ball.

With this sad and mewling serenade, nights are imposible, even the best sleeper gets insomnia. There came a woman wearing a morning gown, with cream on her face, rolls in her hair, beggin for mercy.
But the female just puts on airs. Her owner says it is because she's not interested in love affairs anymore. That is why the cat is suffering and people keep throwing shoes at him, but the cat will not stop his singing.

  • You can read the translation of the lyrics in ENGLISH

  • They are broken hearted due to female lack of understanding. And the only way to mend the grief and pain way alcohol. They tried yoga and tracendental meditation first, but nothing worked.

    Can you blame them?

That is what you women do to us.
