I was recording this performance from the right side balcony, but a failed attempt at adjusting the camera caused the entire camera and tripod to go sliding off the balcony onto the floor below.
Fortunately, no one was hurt, and my camera even survived the 20+ foot drop to the lower level (though my tripod was completely wrecked).
I had never heard of Mike Phirman before the cruise, but he is exceptionally funny and talented, as you'll see here (when my camera isn't busy falling, that is). He was definitely the most pleasant surprise for me, amongst the many pleasant surprises on this trip!
