@26jan75michael We are all creatures with consciousness trying to understand ourselves and any attempt, be it science, religion, metaphysics, magic, mythology, etc, to try and contemplate and structure our reality will all ultimately be under the same banner. We are in a maelstrom of information and some people can't handle the idea of nothing controlling everything.

That is an interesting arguement. I'm not sure if it disproves the exsistance of "the devil" as it were, but it does highlight a truth here. For if we agree we are a people under god, then we must also agree that nothing can oppose god's will, then if this is also truth the question isn't if "the devil" does or does not exsist but weather each and every one of us chooses to act in a civilized manner right with the values and morals that do no harm to each other.
