What's with the Mormon tags? This guy is a Christian. Also Mormonism is a false religion created by Joseph Smith after seeing "an angel of light." (2 Corinthians 11:14)

I grew up Catholic but I didn't hear the simple truth of 1 John 5:13 until I was in my 20s.
It took me another 10 years to get past the Catholic mindset and the myths.
I came to Jesus as a man of 30 years old.
I got hungry for God.
Nothing satisfied that hunger except God's word.
When I finally understood Paul's letter to the Romans I had a breakthrough.
I am now 64 and I am free.
I know I am Saved and Secure in God's promises.
Praise to God who saved a confused, wretched man like me.

Brother, God bless you, we need still some more people like you in usa. i an not from the state but i see that the gospel in most churches in usa today, is not any more the gospel of the Lord Jesus the Christ-. you just got it with this. Praise the Lord.

The Lord and His Spirit are like a cup of light and water in your heart, overflowing throughout your body, it is so wonderful to know that Jesus died on that cross for not just me, but the entire world should they repent and have faith!

@polopowers1 Tell me, Polo, do you assume that EVERYONE who says "I am a believer! I am saved!" is truly saved? Because according to Jesus many will come to Him and say "Lord, Lord" and He will say "Depart from me. I NEVER knew you."
Again, read the book.
"These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. " (1 John 5:13).
It is about assurance of salvation so that you can KNOW you are saved; not merely assume it.
