Petraeus is the real deal, when all other leaders in iraq were failing in there duties, Petraeus, Ordinero, and a few colonels, were stabalizing the regions they were given control over. Hes a brilliant commander who isnt afraid to lisen to others, even if they have a difference of opinion. Good luck General.
As a vet of this war how dare you people question the militarys honor, or General Petraeus. You have no idea whats goin you go on polls and wackos on the senate, and the internet.
I don't approve of the "Move On" ad today (with "Betray Us"). It adds to the corrosive and mean nature of politics in the country today. But "Move On" didn't start this. The talk radio guys did, and the GOP did.
While I don't approve of it, and wouldn't have said it. When we look back it will be the defining thing said about Petraeus's service in Iraq. His reasonable reassurances and jazzed up data will be the sourced of thousands of more US deaths and catastropic injuries.
ABC News/USA Today/BBC/ARD German TV survey 2,212 adults in Iraq (conducted 2/25 through 3/5) finds:
65% believe coalition forces should stay in Iraq until its government and security forces are stronger and operating independently; ONLY 35% believe they should leave now, must of the 35% are Sunni's that are working with the foreign terrorists to wage the insurgency.
Did anyone else notice that Hilary is a bitch for lecturing Petraeus like a 5 year old kid? And then she attacks the policy and then covers her ass about it.

The guy has a Bronze Star with a "V" device. He obviously has character unlike those who are calling him a liar.

Petraeus is the last throw of the dice for Bush. If Petraeus can't do it - it can't be done.
