@houston56able I'm white and I was raised in poverty. I had help getting out of it. Who cares why people give? If the result is these kids get rescued? I know a teacher who went to Africa because a kid in her class heard they didn't have books to read there and started a fundraiser to buy books. This kid and this teacher raised enough money to build a school for 300 orphans. From a kid who had nothing himself! Anyone can help. Shut up and do something.
