Tom Ridge must have got religion for he is now changing his tune. Now he has nothing but good words for President Obama. For Cheney, ah, not so good!

Tom Ridge, who as first head of Homeland Security helped draft proposals to suspend Posse Comitatus, using military troops to round up people including peaceful protestors and who argued for suspension of habeus corpus, giving the president unlimited authority to redefine tortue and 'domestic terrorism' without revue, warrant or recourse. Tom and his ilk have done more damage to this country than 2000 Bill Ayers did with Black Cat fireworks 40 years ago.

That is not accurate. Obama was 8 when Ayers was with the Weathermen. They both currently reside in Hyde Park, a neighborhood in Chicago near the University of Chicago. A lot of intellectuals and college professors live in Hyde Park. I think Ayers himself is associated with University of Illinois at Chicago and his wife is associated with Northwestern University (campuses in Chicago and Evanston, IL). Both Obamas have worked for U of Chicago.

It is disappointing and scary for the former leader of Homeland Security, Governor Tom Ridge, to be so careless with his insinuations. As the chief of Homeland Security, if either Senator Obama or Mr. Ayers posed a risk to this country, Tom Ridge would know all about it. It is disappointing to hear people I once respected for their service to our country, forsake their integrity to keep a Republican in the White House.

Ayers was a terrorist when Obama was EIGHT.
This is such a non issue and reflects the desperation of McCain and Palin that all they can do in the last month before the election is try to slander Obama.
