An asymmetric instrument approach into Southend RW06 with a Diamond Star, DA42 from Stapleford.
Part of the IR course training at Stapleford Flight Centre. Instructor Stapleford 14, Scott Welsford, Pilot, Simon Moores (Airads).
Relatively bumpy day, strong headwind and last exercise of a route which started with an airways departure to Brain at FL90, then to CLN, descend to Tripo and then direct Southend at 2,500 feet for an ILS approach to RW 24 with one engine failed in the go around, to join RW 06 for the NDB with a single engine asymetric as seen in the video
