Jan Eastgate, President of the CCHR and winner of the Church of Scientology Freedom Medal for her work on human rights, has been implicated in covering up the sexual abuse of an 11-year-old girl in the Australian branch of the church. Eastgate was head of the Australian CCHR at the time and the girl was abused by her Scientologist stepfather between the ages of 8 and 11 years.
How's that? I'm sorry for mis-stating it earlier.

The international president of the CCHR has just been arrested, and you're arguing semantics?! Clearly you would justify the crimes of Scientologists; don't you see what you are doing?
How do you feel about Jan Eastgate's arrest, and being accused of covering up a child molestation? Do you think it was right for her to cover it up based on defending Scientology, or do you think it was wrong and you are glad she was arrested?

Jan Eastgate was recently arrested with allegations of covering up the sexual molestation of a child, as she coached the then-Scientologist at 10 years old how to answer questions posed by the police.
