Oakland police attacked for camp clearance

http://www.euronews.net/ When the Occupy Wall Street campaign reached Oakland, California, scores of arrests were made at the protester's camp. Now more than 1000 people have marched on the city hall to demand their release.
Stun and tear gas grenades were fired at the crowd and several more arrests were made. The police have been criticised for their rough handling of some demonstrators.
The Occupy Wall Street camp had been set up for the past two weeks in the Frank Ogawa plaza, but authorities said it was unsafe and unsanitary, and cleared the camp on Tuesday.

@dhale924 I try to see all sides lest I be an ignorant sheep. I vote for both parties & understand protesting. Keep this in mind, when CEO's get huge paychecks... that money has already been made by the company & its their $ (yes,it can be huge $). But the g'ment messes we have now (& Barack is looking to do it again!) are much to do w/our g'ment having FORCED banks to make STUPID loans re Fannie/ Freddie, & Student loans run amuck. Hardworking taxpayers can't keep paying for the flybynights.
