  • State laws have to change. Here is an innocent man who was almost put to death. Let us all think about this.

If you are guilty, DNA can prove it. If you are innocent, DNA can prove it. Remove the eyewitness program..................think about what happened to Kirk........and to so many others. There are so many others who are in prison who are innocent......and there are so many others who need to be incarcerated for crimes they did commit and are on the streets as we speak.

  • He attended King Drew high School this week. Appreciated his message and presence of his obstacles he overcame.

  • I worked with Kirk for 3 yrs. The real killer wasnt found at that time. No way in hell he did that. In the grand scheme of things, Kirk was the best guy for this to happen to. He has been the most vocal, educated, fair man in this country who has based a GREAT portion of his life out there making a difference. Good work Kirk. Oh and KIrk, send me an email from my site sometimes you big gorilla! God Bless

  • All around a sad story. I have photos of Dawn at my 2nd and 3rd birthday not to mention photos of my mother and father with Kirk as he was a family friend. It has been sad for everyone involved and horrible kirk had to suffer for something he was not involved in.

  • I just heard about this man in school. Imagine what it would be like to be in prison, let alone death row, for almost a decade when you didn't even do anything. What's worse is after he was released, he was still called a child killer.

  • Just saw him lecture his story for an hour and half here at Florida-Atlantic University. Amazing story.
