TINY TOONES Inner-City Arts Performance: Ryan Tong & Leng Phe (US Representatives)

June 26 is recognized globally as the United Nations International Day in Support of Victims of Torture. To commemorate this day, LAFLA holds an annual event for its torture survivor clients and the community to raise awareness about the issue of torture and international human rights, and to honor the strength and resilience of torture survivors here and around the world. UN Day is observed internationally and we thank you for joining us in this broad global movement to eradicate torture and celebrate the strength of the human spirit. TINY TOONES CAMBODIA was one of the several organizations invited to honor survivors today, with Ryan Tong (Long Beach, CA) and Leng Phe (Seattle, WA) to perform as our US Representatives. "In 1969, we sent a man to the moon. In 2010, I hope we can save a child from a death camp."
