Is bionic vision in your future? It might be if engineers can perfect a contact lens filed with electronics. As this ScienCentral News report explains, engineers have demonstrated how to put electronics inside a contact lens.

A photo voltaic cell should produce enough energy for something like that. until this technology is available to the public, I will continue to use viewfinders pulled out of VHS camcorders.

If they can actually make this work and make it safe it would be a great tool for people like me. I have very poor low light vision and my eyes don't adjust as well to dark areas as others. If this could enhance low light vision then trying to driving at night or just getting around places like dark restaurant or movie theater wouldn't be so bad.
