Hibari was hated by traditionalists in Japan because she was singing the music of the countries that defeated them in WWII. They were so pro Anerica, that all they wanted was going to Hawaii. The acordion, the guitar and the rythm in this music has NOTHING to do wiht the Asian culture. Before this, she was singing mainly Japanese military songs, her father´s favourites.
