Chevrolet Extends "Cars to People" Program to Meals on Wheels West LA

On Wednesday, June 30th, we were at the West LA offices of Meals on Wheels, bringing our Cars to People program to the organization's volunteer drivers. Over the last year, more than 100 people have experienced the reinvigoration of GM first hand. The program focuses on reaching out to key influencers in communities across America and gives folks an opportunity to drive Chevrolet's latest cars and trucks and what better influencers to tap than those that donate their vehicles and time every week to help others.

We brought nine of Chevrolet's latest vehicles, including the Camaro, Malibu, Equinox, Traverse Crossover, and Silverado Hybrid for the volunteers to use on their delivery routes. Normally, the volunteers use their own cars and gas for the daily deliveries. We felt it was a great opportunity to show our support and help out the people who do so much to help out their community and at the same time introduce them to our 2010 vehicles.
