Before that he disliked her family and behaved snobbish against them, which was something Lizzie disliked about him. But seeing him being nice towards her aunt and uncle, people she likes for themselves and not just because their related, could make her realize, that he might have had reasons for disliking her other family (like Lydia and her mother) and not just because they are not as rich and aristocratic as he is.

You're asking about the novel, right? If I remember correctly, she meets the housekeeper who gushes about him being such a nice boy and everything. Being liked by the people employed by you is not a bad character test! She's also impressed with how nice he is to her aunt and uncle, who are rather "middleclass" (I think her uncle is working as a lawyer), so a true snob would not want to associate with them, but Darcy seems to like them.
