Saw John play outdoors at an Indian reservation in Wisconsin in 1980. Amplified plywood board and the first wireless mic I ever saw. Played the fiddle and walked around the amphitheatre with people following him like the pied piper. Earlier in the day my buddy locked his keys in the car. We knocked on a nearby trailer door and John lent us a coat hanger!
