It takes a bit longer to train a marine, because its harder to convince someone that they can SUCCESFULLY charge a machine gun nest 8(
-
they scream so much they lose their voices and they get raspy lol
-
All DI's sound so much alike..how is this possible?
-
Its not as intense, and if you add up how many training weeks a Grunt has to do, its around 20.
If you add Boot camp + School of Infantry.
-
Who thought of Sgt. Hartman form Full Metal Jacket when they were discussing DI's?
-
@mattaguitar5 it says recruit training yu dumbass
-
royal marines arent sf, they are just elite infantry, a highly trained conventional fighting force. my bro is in 40 commando and his 32 week basic training package included nothing that makes him special operations capable, just a very competent and skilled infantry soldier. he too, is a grunt, just a really hardcore grunt.

@DontFUckWitUSA actually the USMC is because navy seals is special forces and the regular marine corps is not special forces two specific differences
how to make a marine
1. take a civilian piece of shit
2. put him or her through 13 weeks of hell
3. examine the well disciplined killing machine at the end of this cycle

@killerclown789 Who cares? Both United States Marines and Royal Marines fight together side by side. That's what counts =p
