@neasaod not really, gum arabic is on of the tree main ingredients in watercolors, is not really used for anything else if you do arts, it also is used to keep the water glazes shinier, is mostly used by painters and that's it..... i've been looking for it in my area, but none of the stores carry it.

I'd like to buy alot of the colors and want to blend them with oil paint, has anyone done this and can you tell me the outcome? Thanks so much! :)

@gossemerwings I can't say that I have ever done this or seen it done as I don't know many people who work with oils. I would love to see it though.

i love pearl ex, i mostly use it to tint my origami papers, and i've tried painting wiht them, but where I live none of the craft store carry gum arabic :/

@blackreazor It is a specialty product and can be found in Art stores but not the big box stores. I can get it from my distributor if you are interested.
