I've gotta say you're missing out. If you enjoy Tool and APC that much, then you will surely break through to another level once you know and understand the lyrics.

Funny, he said people go straight to the lyrics and they ignore the music. Especially with Tool and APC, Maynard's voice represents one more instrument in the band. I've been listening to this band since they first came out and I probably still don't know the lyrics to most of my favorite songs.

I'm assuming by "everything in the world one could ask" you mean money and fame. Obviously you don't know anything about Maynard, so you should have a chance to learn, but he is not a person motivated by these things. He is a very intelligent and incredibly talented musician who wants to use this art form to heal both himself and others. He wants to expose people to ideas that they may not know about or be comfortable with, so that they can put real thought to things that are actually important.

@gutterbug9 Hahaha. You must have never listened to his music. He might have everything but it cant buy him happiness. Your referring him to "This guy", You have no idea who this guy is. Listen to some of his music. Maybe the album 10,000 days. Or Lateralus. Then call him a douche or a fag.
