This is me in the last few laps of all-comer's race, May 1st, 2005. This was with the VSCCA at the Governor's Cup Races on the VIR North Course.
The yellow car is Len Picton in his Turner. The aluminum car is Mari Ryan in her Lotus 6. The two green rockets that go by on the main straight are Lotus 11's. The leading one is Richard Fryberger in his 11 LeMans.
On the last lap, at the top of the rollercoaster, the Quantum suddenly dropped revs and wanted to stall. It kept running, but it blew my chance to pass into Hogpen. The pass probably wouldn't have stuck anyway, as Mari's 6 has a bunch more power.
