Ashomsky, like your videos a lot. Nice camera! But forget the camera for a moment; anyone can go out and spend a lot of money on a camera. Your videos are excellent for trying to learn the different juggling routines. You break them down and map them out really well. Keep them coming.

This really helps! Nice song choice btw.

Do you break them down yourself or is this the way you learned them? If you do break them down yourself, how? This one is kinda self explanatory but Mess Mills wasn't and I can do it pretty well now thanks to you.

thats a pity you havent some people to meet up with. i find that the most enjoyable part of juggling. you should find out about juggling convention somewhere near you, loads of workshops and performances and LOADS of jugglers. generally a really good vibe and great fun, try to contact maybe a university or juggling club anywhere near you, even if their quite far away maybe they can point you in right direction to find some jugglers, even to meet up on once off youd love it!

@drQuirky Believe me, I would and have wanted for quite some time now, but I live in a small town and got a bit to go before reaching a bigger town...
I looked that Tennnis up, that was what I was talking about earlier xD Columns I know too...yoyo too. And that half shower I know too... (lol, I know more than I thought)
But yeah, as said, I'd love to meed some really good jugglers that could explain some tricks to me, but that's not really an option, unfortunately...

@Zabuz just practice! lol. learn siteswap notation its single biggest thing that helped me find/learn new tricks. other than that you could try "tennis" thats where u throw over back and forth the same ball. columns, ,one up two up, false columns, yoyo. half shower, shower . Just look them up,I find tutorials online nearly best for learning but you cant beat meeting up with other jugglers for tips/advice/criticism, great inspiration as well to juggle with people who are more advanced

@drQuirky I think that's one of the problems, there's too many tricks to chose between. You got any tips on some tricks? I don't really know that many tricks by name (or tricks at all), but I know the windmill, behind the back, under your legs, the one where you throw the balls "over" instead of under(normal juggling),normal juggling, and 4 balls. Got any tips on tricks for me?

@Zabuz well some tricks just dont come to some people, i pulled my hair out trying to learn mills mess about 4months ago, like that trying all the 1,2,3, steps learn pattern with two balls and all that, just couldn,t do it. end of. so frustrating, but i tried it a couple of weeks ago and suddenly its starting to make sense, if a trick isnt working and trying to learn it is annoying you just forget about it I say, for now at least. there's loads of other tricks to learn!!

@drQuirky I get so ridiculously pissed when it comes to juggling and failing. Right now, I'm just looking at the video, seeing one ball going up, one getting taken down, and I'm like "wth am I doing with the 3'd ball?" I can't even keep up in slow-mo xD
And all the "1,2,3steps" I don't even wanna try. They make me more frustrated than the final...
-
just keep at it! moar practice!! if your frustrated with a trick, jus practice something else or take a break altogether and come back to it with fresh eyes, iv been tryin this for few weeks on and off and am only beginning to get it properly

The best tutorial about 3 balls chops :)
hey for me, you do those funny. Are you familiar with chops that actually hit the arm?

@kk4christ777 I think I saw a pattern like that one time, but I don't remember what it's called. I've seen this pattern called chops. There might be another pattern that people call chops, I'm not sure.

for some reason while im practiceing this it feels alot like clawing. what is the difference between this and clawing?
luked977 1 year ago
@luked977 Well, you don't throw or catch chops with your palms down. With chops, you carry each ball from the outside down toward the center in a "chopping" motion and throw from the center.

GREAT tutorials! Hey, can you break down the Side Circles pattern that the Expert Village Emil Lamprecht guy does on YT?
Thanks much!!

That pattern is also called the windmill, and I do have a windmill tutorial. I hadn't heard it called side circles before, I'll add that keyword to my windmill tutorial.
