Dr Bruce Copley acclaimed multi-instrumentalist, maverick didge player and pioneer of SA corporate drumming has made a very timeous Vuvuzela discovery just in time for the 2010 World Soccer Cup. He explains and demonstrates how with some simple techniques and a little practise, any vuvuzela player or owner can quickly learn how to produce a variety of sweet sounding notes, rhythms and tunes on their instrument which is then transformed into a RAINBOW vuvuzela. This can be done without any modification on any vuvuzela irrespective of its shape, size, design or composition. Bruce is offering group coaching sessions. • I am convinced that vuvuzela players simply do not know what is possible with their instruments and so play only 1 note very loudly. I am strongly advocating that all South African sports fans sing the national anthem through their vuvuzela's. As a natural megaphone doing this amplifies the singing voice and doing this would be a "world first" that would immediately provide a sweet sonic solution to what is currently a very sour, sonic signal....a posting by Rainbow Vuvuzela Dr Bruce Copley

  • All aspiring musicians...take note. By exploring the possibilities of an instrument you can create magic. Thanks Bruce for taking the time and the trouble to transform what is ordinarily a common sounding noisy blaster into an extraordinarily versatile and colourful song maker!

  • Yes, the Vuvuzela is far more than just BZZZZZ or Tooooot... You can play real melodies and many different timbres on it. I therefore created the Vuvuzela Music FAQ to learn how.

  • Siging: Seems kinda dumb.

    Whistling: Prett neat.

Trumpeting: If you playtrumpet, you knew this already.

Fluting: I PLAY FLUTE AND I DID NOT KNOW THIS.

  • If I should happen to win a million dollars, I will hand out free Selmer Paris saxophones at the next world cup to prove Dr. Copley's point.

  • These are breakthrough and truly enlightening discoveries! With simple but extraordinary leaps of imagination and genius, Bruce rescues us from the limits of a dreary, boring and dangerous monotone prison and transports us into a new reality of rainbow-noted soundscapes. Thank you for showing us what is possible and for realising that possibility as a single seed, from which many more trees will hopefully flourish.

  • they should put this up on giant screens in the world cup, so those damn people will stopl blasting those horns.

  • Vuvuzela SUCKS south africa just ruined the world cup

  • @gvi341984 Yeah .. Awesome!

  • Let them play it whereever they want but NOT IN THE STADIUM. It is the most annoying Sound ever!!
