This is an AC Cobra 427 REPLICA from 1966. 900 kgs and 600 hp. The sound is not that good, in reality, I could really feel the vibrations of the V8, and it was VERY loud (music for my ears). 1 minute of happyness ! That was in a meeting in Reykjavik that was showing huge 4x4, hill-climing jeeps, muscle cars, camping cars, everything.

  • I've read somewhere that car named Vinland Saga was made in Iceland in 1960 by a guy named Haraldur Magnusson, it was actually copy of AC Ace, 19 examples were made and he stopped production due to poor sales. I'm looking for a picture of this car, I hope some of the Iceland people can find and PM me. Thanks :)

  • You can get replicas in aluminum bodies and have an original 427 built to put in it. The true and only way to determine if it's original or not is to see the factory data plate in the engine bay.

And most replica bodies are fiberglass, not carbon Fiber. You CAN have CF but it's pricey and I don't think it's worth the cost...fiberglass weighs the same and it's easier to fix. You can't patch CF and take it back to normal.

  • yup thats not false...

  • these new motors just don't have the old school sound,i don't know why.......
