ok i was disappointed second time seeing them at the hi fi first time i was drunk second time up front noticed five guitarists playing the same open chord forms that i learnt in the first year of playing guitar but i must admit they are really good songs but hey 5 guitarists what ever !

I saw them in Portland and the fight there seemed really staged. I love this band, theyre my favorite but I think their reputation is more like a stage act these days. Bummer

@RonnieZachariadis1 but on the other hand, you get highly technical people like steve vai and that just sounds Cheesy, Lame and SHIT! this 'simple' stuff is perfect, its about the song and music rather than 'oh i wonder how fast/technical the guitarist is playing'.

If u've ever listened to the album 'their satanic majesties' second request' you would KNOW how creative they can be, the stuff that goes on around the basic chord progressions including some complex song structures and amazing sounds

@RonnieZachariadis1 I really don't see why people criticise something over it's simplicity, you just said your self they are really good songs. Why would you make a really good song but then think fuck it I won't play it to anyone it's not technical enough. That's a ridiculous outlook on how music should be made.
