I shot after S&W 40 and Glock 23, It shot better grouping and less recoil, not to mention 3 times cheaper. check out My one hand shooting and shots closet to the center of target, second ring and they shot the third ring.

  • Throwing your Hi Point after the magazine is empty should be a part of their manual.

  • @madniqaaa lol, I would not doubt it would hurt like hell, still...it is a very accurate weapon, and as cheap as it is, worth every penny.

  • in your opinion out of all of them which is the best deal? the .380 the 9mm the .40 or the .45?

  • @417coty most people would take the biggest caliber ammo, but the Hi point is heavy as is so I think the 9MM is the mid point, go with hollow point 9mm and you got a good midway weapon. Then Again this is my opinion. what does everyone else think?

  • @briggs9187 I personally went with the .40 for the person-dropping factor. the 9 would kill, but the fatter .40 bullet throws em to the ground hard

  • @satisfiction I agree that the 40 has more stopping power and it is the best bet to stop an assailant. The only thing is that I have weapons for self defense and range use. Good point.

  • @briggs9187 I went with the .45, I love it, but if I did it again, I might have chosen the .40, either way, really great handguns for the money. BTW, my .45 shoots and functions perfectly! No issues! :)

  • Hi-point's can't be beat for the price and dependability. I've had three and I don't believe it when people say they a unreliable. To me they are not that ugly either. there are better guns out there but not at that price point.

  • @417coty .380 and 9mm amno are very close in size. Your better off with The .40

  • @000bountyagent000 I understand where your comeing from ive had a 45 hi point for more than 10 years and so far no jams-missfires-stovepipes just bang everytime.Yes its a big gun i call it my robocop gun.I got it 2 mags a pistol case and box of 50 rds for $180 and i can put it anywhere and i know it will fire even my wife likes to shoot it cause its so smooth to fire.I get sick of folks putting them down and thay never shot one.I have a glock 10mm but im fine with either.

  • @417coty the 9mm can be a ok self defense pistol since the loads dont have much recoil so you can acquire target faster on second shot. but the hi points have a pretty heavy slide so acquiring that second sight picture takes a bit more time. but the .45 is just all around heavy but would be good as a home defense gun. you can see the recoil deference between the 9 and 45 in my videos. i will do a video in the next couple weeks showing second shot acquisition on hipoint vs other pistols.

  • its all about havin fun men

  • I carry the hi point 45 for my job and e.d.c have had no problems with it yet knock on wood,my wife bought me the xd 40,it's a whole lot lighter ,but I'm a big guy so the weight from the hi point wasn't a prob, matter of fact after carrying the hi point for so long I don't notice the xd,soon I put my hi point back on for work plus my hi point been thru a lot and still no probs,it's reliable put a grip on it and it even better
