  • Hi man! Congratulations on your car! What are the wheels? "Weld Racing" or "Summit Racing"? I am Brazilian. I have a Ford Maverick here in Brazil. If I buy pieces on the internet and send them into your home, you could arrange for me in Brazil for the "confidence moving"? I paid U $ 150.00 per box sent. Thanks!

  • Hello. Those are Weld Prostar wheels. As far as shipping you the wheels, I am out of the country now so I can't help you out. You might try going to " mmb.maverick(.)to " to see how other Brazilian neighbors are getting parts shipped to Brazil. Good luck!

  • Badass

  • Thanks. Your Comet isn't too bad itself! Very nice!

  • nice car! cool vid too!

  • Thanks Steve.

Update Jan '07. Engine is out of car. Both head gaskets were blown. Uncertain of actual cause. Heads have been reworked, seat pressure increased (to 135). Took .007" off each head. Ordering cam from Comp Cams (increase lift, duration). Converter is being restalled to 3800. 'Hope to rebuild soon and have new and improved vids to post up. - Rick

  • Hey man, I'm 70ProStreet on the mmb, that's one hot mav, what kinda times does it turn? I kinda like the ol' pro stock scoop on it better, but the cowl is nice too.

  • totally bad ass man!!

  • I will get it re-stalled after I've gotten rid of a few more bugs.

The little 347 gets warmer than I like. Santa is to bring me a CSR Elect WP for Christmas.

I'm curious to see what dif that will make. I also ordered a restrictor plate in place of the t'stat so I can run the fan & pump between races.

I'll keep u posted on track results when I get 'em.

    Enjoy your holidays, Rick

  • Ha! Thanks for the well wishes.

I don't have the slip, but it was 98ish mph (1/8th mile). There's a little more in it. I just haven't had the time to squeeze everything out of it yet (I want to remove the 3K chip in my 2-Step to raise the launch rpms to whatever the stall is - which I have yet to figure out for certain).
