What is the bubble counter fluid that you use? I use Glycerin, it works pretty good.

i'm new to the aquascaping world. how would the pH controler work in connection to the solenoid?

You will need a Drop Checker in order to get the controller dialed in correctly. You adjust your set point according to the color in the drop checker. When the drop checker is a nice lime green color you stop lowering your set point.
