I have a cat that loves and has eaten coffee beans for about 8 years now. out of my two cats (brother and sister) the female (Spice) is the one that loves them. She rolls on them before eating them and does get hyper after she eats one or two. She only eats one or two but is always finicky about her food. She is quite healthy and is about 9 or 10 now!

my cat goes absolutely crazy if she smells coffee, i spilled some coffee on my hand and she was rubbing against it and biting it the whole day. and if i ever spill coffee grounds on the counter, she'll be rolling all over it and licking the area they were spilled.

Cats wont eat anything that can hurt them. When it comes to food, they have more sense than we humans do.

Nope, the cat all on its own used to climb on the counter and lick up the coffee grinds every morning and stick its head in the coffee bag to eat the beans.
